1. Uddhav crushes Raj’s last ditch bid for survival
कालचाच माझा ब्लॉग वाचा… सेना आणि मनसे एकत्र कधीच येणार नाहीत असे सांगितले होते. तसेच झाले. अहो, जेव्हा मोदी आणि फडणवीस यांनी २०१४ च्या विधानसभेच्या निकालानंतर मनसेला हाताशी धरून जे सेनेला ब्लॅकमेल केले होते तेव्हाच मला वाटतं उद्धव ठाकरेंनी शपथ घेतली असावी मनसेला संपवण्याची, आणि आज ते करण्यात यशस्वीही झालेले आहेत.. संपूर्णच सेना नाही पण राज ठाकरेंही या घातपातिला जबाबदार आहेत.. हाताने एवढा चांगला पक्ष संपवला.. कार्यकर्त्यांना भेटायचे नाही, भेटल्यावर नुसतं तुसडेपणाने बोलायचे असे चालत नाही हो राव…नुसतं इनकमिंग… द्याचे काहीच नाही.. आता रतन टाटा येवो आणि तारीफ करो, कि घरी शाहरुख खान, मनसे नाशिक सीमितच राहिली आहे… मुंबई मध्ये अगदी ३ ते ४ नगरसेवक निवडून आले तर फारसे आश्चर्य वाटवून घेऊ नका… २८ वरून ४..काय ही दशा? आता मात्र सेनेला काहीच फरक पडत नाही. अगदी सोपं गणित होत. आमचे राजकीय पत्रकार पान भर लेख लिहीत बसले कि कशी युती होणार कोणाला किती सीट मिळणार… टीव्हीवाल्यानी तर कार्यक्रमच घेतली..चर्चा घडविल्या… काय टाईम-पास होता… “अजूनही वेळ निघून गेलेली नाही” असे फलक दादर मध्ये मनसेने लावले. त्यावर सेनेचे उत्तर सोशल मीडियावर फिरतच आहे. स्थिती वेगळी असती जर हेच मनसेचं इंजिन भाजपच्या दिशेने गेलं असत तर… राज ठाकरेंना पक्षाला पुनः जिवंत करण्याची संधी मिळाली असती. पण आता वेळ गेली आहे.

काल सुप्रिया सुळे आणि सचिन अहिर हिंदुस्थान टाईम्सच्या ऑफिसमध्ये गप्पा मारून आले. आज पानभर ताईंची मुलाखत छापली आहेच. दिल्लीत असल्यामुळे इंग्रजीत बोलणे आणि इंग्रजी पेपरच महत्वाचे वाटत असतील. पण हे एक वाक्य (हेडलाईन)ताईंनी कळत नकळत बोलून गेल्या, कि पवार साहेबांचं मन आजही काँग्रेसमध्येच आहे . केवढा मोठा हा हिंट आहे…आज न उद्या पवार साहेब राजकारणातून निवृत्ती पत्करणार….संधीसाधू प्रफुल पटेल किंवा जयंत पाटीलांसारखे नेते साहेबांच्या निवृत्तीची नुसती वाटच बघत आहेत.. साहेबानानंतर दुसरे नेतृत्व इतर लोकांना मान्य नाहीत…किंवा इतर कोणीही मग अगदी अजित पवार असो कि सुप्रिया सुळे कोणाचीही तशी पार्टीवर साहेबांसारखी पकड नाहीय… घ्या आता… संधी समोरून चालून आलीय…सुप्रिया सुळेंच्या या एका वाक्याचे ऑफ द रेकॉर्ड अर्थ काढत बसा…

खूप वर्ष आधी फिल्मफेर अवॉर्ड्सचे सूत्रसंचालन शाहरुख खान आणि सैफ अली खान करत होते.. दोघेही चैन स्मोकर्स… शाहरुख म्हणाला यार सैफ, आज जिकडे बघू तिकडे सिगरेट पिल्याने कॅन्सर होतो जाहिराती दिवसभर टीव्हीवर सुरु असतात.. तंग येऊन गेलो आहे… सैफने जे उत्तर दिले ते ऐकून उपस्थित १०,००० लोकांना नुसत्या टाळ्या वाजवल्या.. तो शाहरुखला म्हणाला, मग सोडून दे कि… शाहरुखने विचारले काय सिगरेट? सैफ ने उत्तर दिले.. नाही.. रे.. टीव्ही बघणे!!हाहा… पण मित्रहो, हा झाला गमतीचा भाग, जो कोणी सिगरेट किंवा तंबाखुचे वेसन करत असेल, माझी प्रार्थना आहे, कि त्याने आयुष्यात फक्त एकदा टाटा कॅन्सर हॉस्पिटलला भेट द्यावी… सगळी नशा उतरून जाईल… काय हाल असतात हो त्या पीडितांचे…बघवले जात नाही… जिवंतपणी मरण यातना…आणि आपण तर मजा मारून जग सोडून जातोच पण मागे सॊडून जातो आपली तरुण बायको आणि लहान लेकरू… इतारांच्या भरवश्यावर!!

1. Most cancer cases in city tobacco related
Years ago, Shahrukh Khan & Saif Ali Khan were hosting Filmfare awards function. As the world knows both were/are chain smokers. Anyway, Shahrukh Khan told Saif that he is been hounded & tired of seeing continuous advertisements on TV that smoking kills or else if you smoke you will get Cancer and so on…Saif being the witty one as always advised something to Shahrukh on which the whole auditorium just laughed…He simply suggested in his “Dil Chahata Hai” style…Then QUIT it! Shahrukh asked ” what cigarettes?”…Pat came an answer form Saif…”nah baba…watching the TV” haha…But friends jokes aside, whosever is having the habit of smoking or chewing tobacco, my request to them is, please do try & arrange your self a visit to the Tata Cancer Memorial Hospital and just see the conditions of the victims of tobacco. There is nothing more uglier sight that this in this world… It is absolutely the most painful sight to see a person dying of cancer due to tobacco. Such are it’s ill effects.. You will go, but you will leave behind your “young” wife and a child who will undoubtedly “dependant” on someone else…So think about it…
2. Sharad Pawar’s heart is still with Congress-Supriya Sule
HMm.. being a “parliamentarian” and English language lover Supriya Sule definitely loves talking in English & visiting English newspapers. Yesterday Supriya tai, as she is fondly called, was at Hindustan Times office. Must say, spoke well and correct. But this one sentence of her father Sharad Pawar having Congress in his heart did raise a few eyebrows. Anyway opportunists like Praful Patel & Jayant Patil are waiting for this to hear. Let us come to one conclusion, that either today or tomorrow senior Pawar has to retire. He will. But the party is not willing to accept any of the siblings, Ajit or Supriya, as their leaders due to various reasons, as none of them display the qualities which Sharad Pawar possesses of being a leader. And why do/will senior’s accept someone junior as their leader? So friends in NCP, take this as a opportunity and start reading between the lines what your party heads are saying….
3. Uddhav crushes Raj’s last ditch bid for survival
What did my blog say yesterday? Shivsena & MNS will never come together… at least not in this lifetime friends…It was decided by Uddhav Thackrey in 2014 itself. When the Vidhan Sabha elections concluded & the results were out, Modi along with newly elected CM Fadnavis had blackmailed Sena so much (as they were contemplating of having MNS as their alliance partner), that it was decided by Uddhav, I think, to finish MNS for good. Today, as we see the picture more clearer, Uddhav has achieved his goal. But was Shivsena alone responsible for MNS’s debacle in Mumbai? No..part credit must go to Raj Thackrey as well… He never met karyakarta’s barring his regulars, never spoke nicely to them or never helped them. He believed only in “in-coming”. Don’t be surprised if only MNS manages to get elected 3 or 4 seats for themselves in the upcoming BMC elections. From 28 to 4… a huge drop… No Ratan Tata coming and admiring botanical garden or No Shahrukh Khan can salvage MNS’s image now. We journalists should also take a cue from this…We spend last 2 days in filling pages & pages of our newspapers for this story. TV channels took live programs..what a waste of effort and time…anyway, had the MNS’s engine diverted earlier from Sena and had gone to BJP a month back, Raj would have been able to just manage to get some respectable numbers.. But now it’s too late…
