OFF THE RECORD review on some of todays headlines…
1. District Co-op Banks permitted to give old currency notes changed by RBI.
Great!! Finally every politician breathing on this Maharashtra soil will have money now…Bring on mid-term elections, now in 15 days every politicians house will be filled in with ill-gotten wealth, now that co-op banks are allowed to exchange banned old notes. By the way, whom does the Co-Op bank panel belong too? It’s that districts MP/MLA/Minister’s close associates, family members or even themselves on board who control these banks right… Now one example worth mentioning here… An ex-MP from Maharashtra who was a Member, Standing Committee on Finance Centre, has allegedly helped Manoj Jayaswal and his son Abhishek (currently arrested in Letter of Credit fraud of 290 crores) in sourcing huge sums of loans disbursements through these co-op banks. My sources from Nagpur claim the fraud done by these Jayswals & MP are nothing in comparison to Vijay Mallya has done to banks….I think some authority should have only audited these banks before settling in for such arrangement. Many including the Pawars, specially banks belonging to the Western Maharashtra are looted by every politician of that district…Anyone gets loans, and that anyone also chooses not to pay those loans…Remember, Harshvardhan Patil ex Minister of Co-Op had exposed Ajit Pawar (still nothing happened to him) with the help of Lokmat newspaper journalist Atul Kulkarni? But now that these banks are allowed to get their money exchanged, the farmer who are major account holders of these banks & societies, it is a doubt I’m raising that during demonetisation, many politicians had parked their monies with farmers thinking they can get through! And yes they have…Thank you Uddhav Thackrey for making all of that legal now, by compromising with Amit Shah…Gosh! even I could become anything had I supported Sena….
2. Deans transferred
On 7th June, some 6 Deans were transferred abruptly by the Government. Not to forget, 2 out of the 6 were not even eligible. One lady Dean who has been given the carrot of shifting to CM’s constituency has not even completed one year as Dean at current city. And 2 Deans, namely the great Tatyarao Lahane of JJ Group of Hospitals & Dr. Abhay Chandanwale of Pune are due for transfer as per DMER’s one report as Tatya has completed 7 year and 7 months whereas the rule book says maximum a Dean can be stay for 3 years. Why this? Now a surprise as to who got this transfers done from the CM? It is not Girish Mahajan…It is some other mInister whom PA Rameshwar approached in exchange of giving the Minister’s brother-in-law (suspended from Nagpur due to molestation charges) his charge back again…
३. तुम्हाला लोकांच्या मनातले ओळखता येते कि नाही मला ठाऊक नाही पण मी मात्र बऱ्यापैकी समोरच्या व्यक्तीच्या मनात काय सुरु आहे, ओळखू शकतो दीक्षितांची माधुरी तिच्या लग्नापूर्वी आणि मी एकाच ठिकाणी म्हणजे जुहूच्या सन अँड सॅण्ड या पंचतारांकित हॉटेल मध्ये पोहण्याच्या निमित्ताने एकत्र येणे होत असे, भटांची आलिया तिच्या बालमैत्रिणीसंगे म्हणजे नीना गुप्ताच्या मसाबा सांगे येत असे, आलिया तेव्हा फारतर जेमतेम ४-५ वर्षांची असावी, तेव्हा अगदी आमच्यासमोर कपडे बदलवून पटकन पूलमध्ये उतरायची, आता ती तसे करणे शक्य नाही, अन्यथा मी सकाळी पाच वाजेपासून पूलमध्ये उतरून बसलो असतो. मला अनेकदा वाटते विदर्भातल्या माझ्या मित्राला म्हणजे अनिल गावंडे यास पोहायला घेऊन जावे, पण नकोच, विदर्भातला ना तो, आळशी आहे, त्यात डायबेटिक असल्याने वारंवार त्याला लघवीला जावे लागते, जाऊ द्या नकोच तो अंगावर थरकाप येणे, तसेही स्विमिन्ग पुलमधले पाणी आधीच मिठासारखे असते….तर लोकांच्या मनातले मला समजते म्हणून मी माझ्या मनात जे होते ते कधीही माधुरीला विचारले नाही हे माहित असूनही कि ती विवाहित पुरुषाच्या प्रेमात पडू शकते, अर्थात समोरून येणारे उत्तर मला ठाऊक होते, ती हेच म्हणाली असती, हेमंत, मी तर तुझ्यात मोठा भाऊ बघते. थोडक्यात मला लोकांच्या मनातले कळते…पूर्ण लेख वाचण्यासाठी कृपया खालील लिंक क्लिक करावी…

4. Anil Kumble V/s Virat Kohli
I have an example to cite here. A father out of all the values he carries with all the traditions and family support, blessings starts his career with nothing and makes it big one day in his life. Gets every dream of his family come true. Later marries and has a son on whom he dots on… His son when he turns 20, studies abroad comes back to India and starts throwing his weight around…To make it worse, he treats his father “one belonging to the old generation & values”…yes the same father is cursed who has made his son see this day… Anyway the son starts a business, in spite of the father opposing it with valid reasons. But son who has never seen any struggle, born with a golden spoon, who is now the educated one with more strength (physical) still goes against the wishes & whims of his experienced father and looses the game of business. After all Nature has its own sweet way to give back in life…Whatever the father had earned with all the insults, struggle, blood & sweat goes down the drain and the family is back on the streets just because of one problem. EGO of the son was bigger than his boots. Father use to tell him, plead in front of him, that son we will be finished if you get influenced by your friends and do business, but no use…Everything goes. Ga,bye of the son fails… Later after some years of struggle again, the father passes away, mother passes away soon, wife of the son who was not used to such “hard life” leaves the son with his kids and son is left alone all of a sudden to just repent and cry…This is what will happen to Virat Kohli…Today the looks & talent of the game is taking him places, but at times, you have to be dependant on advice of seniors & in true sense achievers for me like that of Kumble or a Dravid..Boss these are the true cricketers who have lived by the every meaning of the word ” Sportsman”… I cannot even compare a Sachin to these legends…So Virat, time for some retrospection… before its too late…Don’t be the arrogant son!
