OFF THE RECORD review on some of todays headlines
1. Broke State Congress plans to ask MLAs to donate a months salary
Oh Common! Why this situation on State Congress? Where are the commitments of life long Congressi politicians like Patangrao Kadam, Balasaheb Thorat, Vikhe Patil, Ashok Chavhan, Bhai Jagtap & STILL in Congress Narayan Rane? These people are not only rich but anyone of them can take care of Congress for the next 20 years even without blinking an eyelid. Why the eyewash then? Why people like Anant Gadgil, Sanjay Dutt or Ranpise should bear the brunt? See the people whom I have mentioned here in the rich category, all have political heirs who would be ENTERTAINED only in Congress. So not for yourselves, but at least for your son’s please let go your 10% of wealth accumulated, leaders! By the way an interesting theory came upto me. Those who thought Ashok Chavan has made a fortune of some thousand crores, please understand the nitigrities. From what I have heard, had it not been his best friend ‘Shah’ in the anti-chamber whilst his tenure as CM, Chavan would have been left with only few crores instead of some 100’s today. Whatever Ashok Chavan did & collected as CM was directly directed to Delhi. That is why Ashok Chavan never left his friend even when he was targeted by the media in those days. By the way friends, Latur will & can be gone to the Nilengekar’s owing to some poor show by Amit Deshmukh in every aspect.
2. 791 buildings in Mumbai are unsafe: BMC survey
I’m sure notices are served to these unsafe buildings. But is it of any use? One natural calamity say an earthquake with a magnitude of a richer scale than usual will kill everyone living in these buildings for sure. Most of these buildings would be located in Muslim-dominated areas such as Kurla, Govandi, Nagpada & so on. The formula is simple. In a one floor building or a row-house, raise floors illegally (built the same in some 6 months) and fill in as much as “jaatbhai” as possible. BMC and the Government once declaring the names & areas of the buildings should DISOWN these buildings. The residents IF & IF are residents of Maharashtra since last 25 years, should be rehabilitated elsewhere. Rest should be sent back to their native state or COUNTRY. BMC & the Government should openly notify them and stop the basic necessities such as water supply & electricity. Only then these people will learn. This will be less of a burden to carry off then to see some thousands of people who will die if “the D-Day” arrives.
3. Maha CIC thrashed over demolition of Ambedkar Bhavan
Not done! Two of the IAS officers getting caught in the last week for accepting bribe by the ACB is a trend setter, but beating them is a strict NO-NO. We are not in Pakistan or Uttar Pradesh or Bihar where anyone stands up & takes up violence to fight against Government. If the Ambedkarism thought processors think alone CIC Ratnakar Gaikwad is the brain behind the demolition of the Ambedkar Bhavan, they are wrong! They should first understand the politics behind it and the ‘leaders’ & other ‘bureaucrats’ who have initiated the idea. Hint-Those who gave statements pro Ratnakar Gaikwad are the ones who have his back covered.
4. Diwakar Raote: Move to denotify highways wrong
Who says I’m against Shiv-Sena. See didn’t I tell you there are still some tigers left in the Sena? Raote is surely one of them. This is what Shivsena is and this is what they should do!! Oppose every move of the BJP that harms the public on a large. The move to de-notify highways just to rack in revenue from sale of alcohol was not a welcome move. Raote had the guts to at least oppose to the policy. (I’m a Devils Advocate) –But Roate Saheb, in a cosmopolitan city like that of Mumbai which is on the world map as one of the best, can curbing anything be good to its image. Point to Ponder on !
5. मगरीचे अश्रू : पत्रकार हेमंत जोशी
दैनंदिन जीवनात प्रत्येक कामाचे आपण मोल मोजतो, घरी येऊन मुलांची शिकवणी घेणारीला तिची फी मोजतो, मोलकरणीला तिचा महिन्याचा ठराविक पगार देतो, उत्तम सेवा दिली कि हॉटेल मध्ये वेटरच्या हातावर भरगोस टीप ठेवतो, केस कापणे झाल्यावर न्हाव्याला पैसे मोजतो थोडक्यात मिळणाऱ्या प्रत्येक सेवेचे आपण सारेच दरक्षणी पैसे मोजतो, आणि तेच आपण शासनकर्त्यांच्या बाबतीतही करतो. जो उठतो तो म्हणतो आम्ही हे केले आम्ही ते करून दाखविले, पण कोणीही काहीही फुकट केलेले नाही, या राज्यात जे म्हणतात, आम्ही हे करवून दाखविले त्यांच्यातल्या एकानेही काहीही फुकट केलेले नाही म्हणजे एखादा शिवाजीराव मोघे किंवा अशोक चव्हाणांचा किंवा अन्य कुठल्याही नेत्याचा किंवा शासकीय प्रशासकीय अधिकाऱ्याचा समर्थक जर म्हणत असेल कि ह्यांनी अमुक केले तमुक केले अश्विनी जोशी, तुकाराम मुंडे, अण्णा हजारे, पोपटराव पवार, चंद्रकांत दळवी, श्रीखर परदेशी, दीपेंद्रसिंह कुशवाह, दिवंगत आर आर पाटील यांच्यासारखे अगदी बोटावर मोजण्याएवढे ज्यांनी समाजासाठी, राज्यासाठी जे केले किंवा जे करताहेत ते सारे अपेक्षाविरहित, बाकीच्या साऱ्यांनी आपल्याकडून केलेल्या आमच्या मोबदल्यात लाच म्हणून खूप मोठ्या प्रमाणावर रक्कम स्वीकारलेली आहे, घरी नेलेली आहे, कधी काळी भिकारीसाले, आज हे हरामखोर अतिशय श्रीमंत आहेत, त्यांच्या पुढल्या कित्येक पिढ्या मजा मारणार आहेत. हे सारेच अशोक चव्हाण किंवा रमेश कदम किंवा अंकुश चव्हाण आहेत ज्यांनी नेते किंवा अधिकारी म्हणून आपल्याकडून कोट्यवधी रुपये उकळले आहेत त्यामुळे आम्ही अमुक एक केले असे जेव्हा एखाद्या बड्या नेत्याच्या समर्थनार्थ कोणी म्हणतो तेव्हा वाटते हेच सांगावे कि बाबारे तुझ्या आवडत्या नेत्याने, मंत्र्याने, मुख्यमंत्र्याने, अधिकाऱ्याने फुकट काहीही केलेले नाही, आम्ही मराठींनी त्याची जबरी किंमत आजतागायत मोजलेली आहे, बघा मग असे समर्थक कसे ढुंगणाला पाय लावून तुमच्यासमोरून पळ काढतात..To continue to read click the link below
