OFF THE RECORD review on some of Political Gossips ….

Why was the Police Establishment Board meeting called off?

Apparently, even before it was announced as to who would be the next Home Minister for Maharashtra, the controllers of the IPS lobby (I’ll term them as Inconvenient Officers) had already made their plans to place their ‘own’ people at places where it mattered. But then, CM Uddhav Thackrey got a hint of this hushed up meeting which was held by the Police Establishment Board and he ‘instructed’ the Chief Secretary, and you won’t believe, in 5 minutes everyone present during the meeting were sent home. Heard there were revolts too in the meeting that lasted for not less than 15 minutes…Why these “inconvenient officers” in the first place would have arranged for such a meeting, I tried to rattle my brain..What was their intention? My guess says, that they knew CM Uddhav is practically new to the administration and it would be easier for them to get few transfers done and place their own men at important posts. Secondly, my source says, the list of the IPS officers contained names of all those who were close Ex-CM Devendra Fadnavis. But why do these inconvenient officers forget one more thing? If the “supposed to be transferred” IPS officers were close to Fadnavis, boss–the last government was run by Fadnavis & Uddhav together for 5 years–so why on earth would Fadnavis would have appointed any IPS officer on important posts if Uddhav was a bit uncomfortable with any of them? Use common sense…Relations between Uddhav & Fadnavis were very cordial on such matters. So officers who were close to Fadnavis are very well known to Uddhav too and yes, personally too. Second extension of CP Barve is a proof of that..Everyone said, the CP won’t get his second extension, but it happened nah…

I’m also told that these “inconvenient officers” were very scared that the Home Department might go to the NCP. Either Jayant Patil or Ajit Pawar were in the contention of becoming Home Minister. Now the current team of IPS officers who are at the top positions–everyone knows how they have rubbed the NCP the wrong way. Be it Praful Patel, Ajit Pawar or even Chagan Bhujbal. If and only if, had NCP been given the Home Department, NCP would have really troubled these IPS officers..But this is just the a temporary arrangement, “inconvenient officers”. Wait for the cabinet expansion!! You never know, you might have a NCP neta leading Home from the front…

Now, as we all know there is a big fight amongst IPS officers amongst themselves. CP Barve retires in February 2020. Now in contention are Parambir Singh, Rashmi Shukla and Hemant Nagrale. So the whole exercise of appointment of “our men” which I mentioned above was to have control on the CP where they failed this time. So if you think Parambir would have it easy since he belongs to one group–don’t take it on the face value.. If Uddhav succumbs to pressure from this “inconvenient officers” lobby, Parambir is going to have a tough time as he will be surrounded by the people, who belong to the”inconvenient” gang.

And yes, tell me, are IPS and IAS officers some terrorists or what ? Why some of them kept under vigilance? For god sake, we common Mumbaikar’s trust them with our lives and in IAS we believe they are taking decisions which are for the betterment for the society…Make it public on whom you are keeping vigilance…and the reason with it too…I have heard even if the IPS/IAS officer this “inconvenient officers” gang thinks is not theirs, to whom they speak on whastapp call to whom they meet with the location everything is tracked through  Internet Protocol Detail Reports…This is so shit!

My prayer to the ACS Home Sanjay Kumar, DG Jaiswal and CP Barve would be–to take this blog of mine as a request and to act against these “Inconvenient Officers” and stop this hatred as it does not go down well to the juniors. You never know when tables will turn…By the way, I’m told, Fadnavis is very unhappy with all this. He has kept a very close eye on all this ‘recent development’ and is updating Motabhai too…God knows, why does he takes my blogs so seriously?
