“OFF THE RECORD” review on some of headlines…
1. Say anything, in my views the way Arnab Goswami has made a dead case of Sushant Singh Rajput alive, after being declared his death as a suicide, hats off to him. Though it was actress Kangana Ranaut who was the whistleblower, it was Arnab who forced the entire nation now to come to aconclusion–Something somewhere the dots are not connecting. The way Arnab debates, see I don’t know what exactly will come to light, but boss, it hasdefinitely made the entire Maharashtra Government a little uneasy.Believe me, even today when the case has reached the Supreme Court due tomammoth efforts from Arnab & SSR’s family efforts (obviously backed by some one big) , not one Marathi news channel has shown the guts or the courage to keep the case alive on their channels through debates. Obviously, there arerelations for keeps, caste equations, advertisements for the channels & fear of getting offices torn down or even get beaten up like how Nikhil Wagle was beaten up when he followed up Ramesh Kini case & bad-mouthed Balasaheb Thackeray by then Sainiks. This is Journalism. Might be Arnab is completely wrong, but boss sitting in Parel & addressing the CM by his first name and knowing he is a Shiv Sainik first, isn’t a joke…Fearless Journalism, common give that much to him…
Coming to IAS–Why is Manisha Verma being ignored? Few months ago she was shunted from the Tribal department & various reasons were attached to the transfers. Apart from reasonsmentioned in my previous blog, I have a different story to tell this time. A senior Secretary level officer was punished for no fault of hers, at least that was been presented. So it happened, Court had passed strictures on a certain Gaikwad Committee report. It was about many irregularities that happened in Tribal Department during 2004 to 2009. Mind you, Verma wasn’t even posted in that department then. Yet she was framed in that . Also then the Government, against the Court strictures, did not even file a rejoinder or a SLP to protect Manisha, and for no fault of hers, she was shunted. Now we all know only a certain group (of 4) are the Karta-Dharta’s in whose hands lie transfers of IAS & IPS of Maharashtra. They are AM, SK, MS & mere pyaare SJ …Please may I request either of them to let Verma have a respectable posting?
The reason I used abbreviations is because in the Sushant case, Rhea’s phone call records said AU. If AU can be a girl friend of Rhea, isn’t it safe for me too-to use abbreviations whilst naming & shaming.
Now, the biggest talk of the town is transfer of Vinita Vaid Singhal from Tribal Department within a span of 2 months of herappointment there. Please note–in fact she has been rescued! When she joined Tribal, I had spoken to one of my friend that one of theKarta-DhartaGang Member (of 4 mentioned above) wasn’t too happy to get her there. But, she joined as Minister Padvi was hell bent & got Singhal at Tribal. By the way, those who don’t know—ALERT— Congress is the only party in this MVA government who does not allow this main Karta-Dharta team member to participate in transfers of IAS of their department’s. One example is that of Vinita Singhal how Padvi got her, and second is Nitin Raut-He has ‘his’ people in Dinesh Waghmare & Sanjay Khandare against the choice of AM, one of the Karta-Dharta Gang. Thank God, Singhal Ma’am, you were ‘left’ unhurt &unbruised! But Singhal Ma’am, I had heard, Minister Uday Samant, Rajesh Tope & Ashok Chavanwanted you to their department’s then what went wrong? You were straight away given a side posting…

AM of the Karta-Dharta gang wanted to get rid of Rajesh Kumar Meena due to his proximity with other powerful bureaucrat. He succeeded in removing ‘decent’ Rajesh Kumar but wasn’t able to settle scores with him by replacing him with Vinita Singhal at Tribal Department. So, my news of Congress not allowing this Karta-Dharta at all in any postings of IAS is TRUE. But now senior-most Meena, remains without posting. Talking about a lof of people being without postings, there are so many of them with 2 to 3 additional charges. Why does not AM get them relieved and hand-over crucial posts which are a burden to another one to the one’s who are sitting at home? Strange na…
Also, to bring in people like Anup Yadav, Vipin Sharma ( in short above 2000 batch) & so many new ones in the main circuit to head crucial department is a master stroke by Karta Dharta Gang. But sirs, let me tell you–don’t expect loyalty & camps from these new blood officers. They have learnt lessons from you and come. When it is Devendra Fadnavis regime, he is God, & when Uddhav Raj comes, he becomes God!!
Forest & Environment are like husband & wife, in short they are corelated. Co-incidentally both the departments are headed by both husband & wife now–Milind & Manisha Mhaiskar. By the way, the impression of CM Uddhav Thackeray being very bad with bureaucrats who were in the inner circle of Devendra Fadnavis, is not true at all. Both Mhaiskar’s touted to be close to Fadnavis were respectfully treated by CM Thackeray. They were allowed to complete their terms & given good postings. 100% It is also because of their image & work they put in… So those close to Fadnavis, don’t loose hope.
Bhaisaab, I’m in awe with CIDCO boss Lokesh Chandra. Even after completing his term, he does not want the post to go. AM is also happy with him. Then why is wife of Lokesh, Abha Shukla getting restless & ‘heard’ lobbying for Lokesh. Ma’am, if you have AM on your side, a promise made to Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee does not stand ground.
Also, now that the post of MHADA is vacant, who is the front runner? Heard Pravin Darade is in contention. Till now I always thought Sanjeev Jaiswal to be in the race, but Jaiswal’s file that had reached all tables got stuck majorly at AM’s table. Also Sujata Saunik who was almost finalized as ACS Home, where did it get stuck, God knows? She is in the US and I request her to return here as out of sight is out of mind, ma’am! Manukumar Shrivastav might score huh….
And finally the news of SRA–BMC’s DMC Ranjit Dhakne scored above Nitin Mahajan, SDO Kalyan and became the secretary at SRA. No, it ain’t like that. Even though SRA comes under Minister Jitendra Awhad, this time the important posting of SRA Secretary was done by the ShivSena MLA & with consultation of a high profile PA.
