The Ajit Pawar factor !
Raids and more raids. Just when we people in Maharashtra thought that Income Tax is done with its raids on the likes of Jayant Shah, Prashant Nilawar, Girish Pawar, Kedia of Thane and some in Parbhani, the second innings started with raids on Ajit Pawar his relatives and few sugar mills close to the ‘influential’ family of Maharashtra. Then came the turn of Vivek Jadhav, Shahid Balwa and few others. Are these raids motivated , are they backed by the BJP to disturb the current MVA Government, or is it someone from the inside playing the dirty game, only time will tell, readers!
If agencies from the Centre were not enough, the Kirit Somiya factor still lingers on the head of MVA Government on the likes of Anil Parab, Bhavana Gawli, Hasan Mushriff and Anil Deshmukh. Overall, I would term this as a turbulent ride that the current MVA government is going through. But as confident as was his Dussehra speech, CM Uddhav Thackeray and NCP supremo Sharad Pawar have one motto: We won’t bow down to this pressure from the agencies and the Government will complete its remaining term. Nothing deters them.
As I got to know the raids were complete, I decided to speak to an extremely close associate of Ajit Pawar and find out the reasons, as not only me but even you must have noticed that Ajit Pawar is appearing to be too calm and confident after these raids as if nothing will be found. Some might say his relations with the BJP are still intact while some might argue he has developed a new bond with the Delhi bosses of the BJP. Then if Ajit Pawar is enjoying this, then why these raids on all Ajit Anantrao Pawar and family? The answer from the close associate was, apart from many outsiders, Vikrant, our own people & powerful ones are behind us too. The close associate went on to say that many times the fodder required or even the instigation to Kirit Somaiya is done from ‘our people’. Shocking isn’t it?
Now onto some OFF THE RECORD information. Well, we all have heard numerous times that Kaka and the nephew are not compulsorily on the same page every time. Kaka wants daughter to be the inheritor but the party cadre is behind the nephew. If Kaka cracks a deal and sends daughter to Delhi, the nephew within 15 days will cease the importance of his cousin in the state. Hence, as per what we hear, if and only if, the parties of different ideologies come together in Maharashtra in the near future, it will be the daughter and not the nephew, the choice of Kaka as the Dy CM. Is that why we see the daughter holding meetings and also being active in the Governance too? Kaka’s aim before he retires is to put his daughter in a commanding position. Hence the raids, some claim. But all is this if’s & but’s. It is 1000% sure that BJP in the near future won’t go with any party in Maharashtra!
Now coming to the Dussehra rally. I really loved it when CM Uddhav Thackeray finally gave the ‘Hindutva’ call. It was high time Sena took this stand once again but have heard due to this ‘stance’ the partners have raised their eyebrows! Then the rest of CM’s speech was the same record playing once again for years. The same ’92-93 reference as how it was Sena and how we saved Mumbai and so on. Aree sir, everyone has acknowledged your party’s efforts, isn’t that the reason since 1997 your party has one sided ruled the BMC in spite of everyone knowing the corruption it does? We Mumbaikar’s don’t and won’t forget anything what you did in 1992 and 2019 😉 And by the way sir, you say you had promised your father (Late Shri Balasaheb Thackeray) that one day you will become the CM of Maharashtra (or a Sainik) and on the other hand just few days ago, Pawar Saheb said, it was on his insistence that you agreed to become the CM, leaves us completely confused!!
Coming to Nawab Malik and his various allegations against the Narcotics Control Bureau, some seem to be motivated for obvious reasons but allegations against BJP leader Mohit Bhartiya meeting NCB officials to free his brother in law Rishabh Sachdeva is a bit far-fetched. Mohit in-fact has done a drug test of all his family members and asked Malik and his family for the same. A defamation suit was filed by Mohit on Malik to prove his ‘meeting video’ which Malik had claimed on national television of him having it. If Malik has embarrassed himself on the Bhartiya episode the claims of him on the Fletcher person being ‘panch’ on various raids of the NCB, is surely questionable on the NCB’s part for which we are all waiting for NCB to come clean on.
Rest, if all this gathered the news last whole week, another insider tells me not all is well in the BJP unit of Mumbai. The MLA upon whom the responsibility of the BMC elections is given (one of the core members) is heard to be throwing tantrums and insulting every Karyakarta left right and centre. The complaint has reached the ears of Mumbai BJP president Lodha, but not many know that the MLA and Lodha are also at loggerheads with each other. There is a lot of in-fighting here and the MLA has said to be on an abusing spree of his senior party leaders In Maharashtra. Itna gussa kyun aata hai aapko, Mr. MLA?
