Abb Tandav Hoga!!
Excellent decision by LoP Devendra Fadnavis to not attend All Party meet organised by the Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil to sort the loudspeaker issue. Why should he go? If the CM of the state is not interested in attending, Sharad Pawar is not there, any decision taken in this meeting will not be counted in any which ways. Also, yesterday CM Uddhav Thackeray chose not to welcome PM Narendra Modi at the airport, as per protocol, It was a big faux paus by the CM, according to me. The presser of Fadnavis today has given a strong message. Boss, both Kirit Somaiya and Mohit Kamboj Bhartiya are not associated with the BJP currently in any official capacity. If Fadnavis is sidening them (correctly), BJP is in no mood to let anything pass easily even if they are mere sympathisers. Mark my words, today BJP Maharashtra has given a strong signal to the MVA government. Ab Tandav Hoga!!
Amol Mitkari & his anti-brahmin speech
I am sure everyone has heard what MLC Amol Mitkari (doesn’t he look like that dubious character Iqbal Qadri from the Jolly LLB 2 starring Akshay Kumar) of the NCP spoke. Reciting Hanuman Stotra or even Hanuman Chailsa is no crime but to poke Brahmins over issues like ‘Kanyadaan’ and making fun was surely uncalled for. Jayant Patil has a strong dislike for Mitkari, it is said in NCP’s close circles. Mitkari belongs to Ajit Pawar’s clan and this might be the reason state president Jayant Patil immediately distanced himself and his party from what Mitkari said. But no one missed how Jayant Patil and Dhananjay Munde had their share of fun when Mitkari was addressing the crowd. Worst part is Dhananjay Munde’s PA, a Brahmin, Prashant Joshi, was sitting right behind Dhananjay on the stage, whom Prashant knows since Dhanu bhau had his first girlfriend. Either he should have walked away or stopped Mitkari, is what is being discussed amongst his peers. Instead Joshi preferred to laugh and clap at what Mitkari said. Shame! Sometimes I feel, what Raj Thackeray said is correct. Casteism in Maharashtra has gained pace after formation of the NCP in 1999. But don’t forget readers, even these so-called casteist people have Brahmin working for them at ‘important’ positions. Ranade and Hemant Takle are Sharad PAwar’s trusted team members, Dhananjay Munde has a Prashant Joshi and Jayant Patil’s house PA is a Fadnis. So are they really castist or is it caste based politics these guys follow, we all are matured enough to understand! Coming to Mitkari, as I said he resembles Iqbal Qadri. Watch the movie and find out!!
Navneet Rana and Shivsena
Personally I am not a big fan of MLA Ravi Rana and his wife MP Navneet Rana. But point here is Navneet Rana and her husband Ravi both are charged with sedition for wanting to recite Hanuman Chailsa right in front of CM Uddhav Thackeray’s personal home, Matoshri. First things first, it is no harm if any person wants to do so. If a Mitkari can chant it publicly, surely then Ranas can. The way Shivsainik gathered below their home and sloganeered, “Mumbai aamchya Baapachi”, the situation had become tense. By the way these 80% Sainiks are the same Marathi people who live in Kalyan, Thane, Dombivali, Karjat, Palghar and so on…i.e. outskirts of Mumbai. Now tell me, who is responsible for these Marathi Manus’s ouster from their own Mumbai? So before sloganeering Mumbai is yours, first tell me where are you in Mumbai, Marathi Manus, and who has compulsorily thrown you out of Mumbai? Secondly, the police in Maharashtra are really behaving funny. Instead of clearing the crowds from Rana’s building, they arrested both husband and wife and charged them with sedition. Reason–she just wanted to recite Hanuman Chailsa. I mean are we even serious? The atmosphere has surely become tense in Maharashtra plus attacks on Mohit Kamboj, Kirit Somaiya and BJP Karyakarta across Maharashtra, it has totally put me in this frame of mind–Do not utter a single word against this MVA Government. They can go to any extent. If it is not their way, it is the highway! I won’t be surprised if any more BJP try to expose this MVA government on some or the other issues (Polkhol Yatra), our state can witness riots too! By the way, Raj Thackeray and his Mansainiks should now come in open against such attacks on the BJP and fight toe to toe.
Let’s be the devil’s advocate here. Is the BJP Maharashtra doing all this on purpose? Like the way they are hell bent on loudspeaker issues, Navneet Rana’s unnecessary comments on the CM? I feel some issues could have been avoided by the BJP. What Kirit Somaiya or Fadnavis were doing was perfect. Expose the government technically and then let the agencies do their job. Now this polkhol of BMC is yet another excellent tool by the BJP. Forget the BJP, even I am OK with following the Supreme Court orders on the loudspeakers issue. But making it look into a Hindu-Muslim thing, even if it is not the agenda of BJP, it has been potraid in this way that the BJP is trying to rupture the social fabric of our state. By the way, BJP is not against Azan, they are against the usage of loudspeakers. Someone needs to highlight this continuously.
Coming to Sanjay Raut and his threat to MP Navneet Rana and her husband Ravi Rana on national television, I mean, what is he having for breakfast, Can someone please check? But it happens only in Maharashtra wherein there are two different laws for two MP’s. Sanjay Raut threatens Rana of serious consequences if she does not fall in line–he is left free by the police and a lady MP and her MLA husband who are supporting BJP, asks for reciting hanuman Chailsa are charged for sedition. It is an absolute brazen use of power and police machinery, I feel. Also, on social media, bold pictures of MP Navneet Rana who was an actress before have been spread by the MVA’s supporters. This is absolutely shameful. In our city or country wherein porn star like Sunny Leone who are termed as ‘brave’, character assassination of a lady Member of Parliament just because she is creating noise, is dirty!
