Bajrang Kharmate or Bajrang Bali Ke Jitna ‘Khaate’?
After trying every trick in the book to convince my father that I have already finished 6 weeks of testing negative, he still does not allow any of one us brothers or any member of the family to venture out of our apartments. He says the danger is still lurking above us. I told him there is a concept called ‘antibodies’ (mine are sadly only 8 ), he is convinced that only after the first dose of vaccine will I be allowed to step out of the building. To make matter worst, obviously sitting inside home and having Swiggies & Zomatoes at my convenience every inch of body has grown rapidly in these few months. But yes, have done something very useful too…have downloaded everything from Netflix to Discovery plus and have watched every movie, series and God knows what all, ever since the concept called Covid and Lockdown came in existence since last year. One thing which really blew my mind was this App called Alt-Balaji. My Gosh! It’s is semi-porn!! Yes, in every series there will be Ooos’ and Aaah’s and scenes which will be strictly advised to be watched alone. I think now with the growing popularity and subscriptions of the App, the Central Government will intervene and put some kind of censorship. Download it before it’s too late. It’s an Ekta Kapoor app, hence ‘Balaji’ in the name of the App, the only thing that confused me looking at the content!
By the way, its been a year today of passing away of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. All the mysteries and drama surrounding be the names involved, it had taken the nation like a storm. The evidences or theories which so called then BJP leaders had with them are buried deep down. Now when I speak to these leaders who had all the support from the Center to go all against the MVA Government in this matter at that time, choose to stay silent! The inside news is, all files are ready and will be ‘used’ at a specific date, I am told and tried to get convinced with one of the functionary. Yesterday on his death anniversary, every celebrity took on to twitter or instagram to mourn SSR’s death, my guess is it was every celebrity’s pre-decided strategy to post it and avoid backlash of public and boycotting of movies and so on…
Coming back to politics, Pm Modi met CM Uddhav Thackeray all alone for good 35 minutes few days back, whereas veteran Sharad Pawar is waiting for an audience with the PM for so many months, a lot has been cooked, I am told. Only God understands politics of Maharashtra these days. If Uddhav Thackeray has been given a message, why did Devendra Fadnavis meet Sharad Pawar and why did Sharad Pawar meet that Prashant Kishore? Who is doing what? Congress is the one who might clear any flutter, if any! I have decided to just go by the day as it comes now. Till then, let me concentrate on the ‘free show’ this government has to offer. So today presenting you all another case that of our very own Transport Minister, closest to Thackeray house-hold, Shri Anil Parab. By the way, doesn’t Parab’s looks remind you of that villain Spot Nana (actor Rami Reddy), the famous South Indian villain who starred in many Bollywood movies in the ’90s? Google and compare….
Coming to the story now, there is one Deputy RTO Wardha with additional charge of Dy RTO Nagpur Urban named Bajrang Kharmate. Yes, he is as famous in the department as Journalist Atul Kulkarni is for his ‘series’ writing and later helping people who are ‘mentioned’ in the series. In his career of some 20 odd years Kharmate has been suspended some 4 to 5 times, there are innumerable complains at the ACB, & most shocking is, couple of times the suspension has happened due to these series appearing in paper written by none other than Kulkarni. But then be it Atul’s book launch or any big function, Kharmate is seen doing the ‘arrangements’ in the forefront for Kulkarni. Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Ye, right?
In RTO no one can survive without an agent and a punter at any RTO check-post or interstate check-post. It is a fact. So this time Kharmate, when Anil Parab became the Minister, using his close friends came in contact with Anil Parab and that’s when it all started. For information, Kharmate is Wardha Dy RTO with additional charge of Nagpur Urban, but Mumbai is where he frequents very regularly. PLEASE take this in writing. Minister Anil Parab does not even know what KHARMATE does…Yes, there are few ‘permissions’ given to him, but making a ‘set-up’ of a simple permission that too having Commissioner Avinash Dhakne as boss of department, is what really surprises me or raises my concern. Giving you a case study below how it works…
This particular whistle-blower is none other than RTO Inspector of Nashik, Ganjendra Patil. He has officially lodged a complaint at Panchavati Police Station at Nashik against his own department’s 6 officials including the Cabinet Minister. A transfer scam of Rs. 300 crores is his main contention of the complaint. There are some 7 to 8 witnesses who are officials themselves to the complaint. Nashik Police Commissioner Deepak Pandey had appointed a 2 member committee to investigate the matter. Just 2 weeks ago everyone including the Secretary were present at Nashik to give their reply to the police. For the record and OFF THE RECORD, Gajendra Patil has been offered a huge huge amount to withdraw the case, and no it is not a message from the Minister, on his own Bajrang Kharmate has offered Patil to withdraw the complaint in exchange of benefits which will cover his 1 more generation for a lifetime free of cost, I am told. Now why Gajendra Patil complained?
Heard Patil was nearing retirement. So he needed some posting for few months or 1 year to a place of his choice which is also allowed as per the law. He was asked to pay a certain amount which was way beyond his capacity. So when he did not cough up the money required his transfer was stopped. Now what I am told, that it is routine for every person in department to cough up huge sums, which we all are aware of. There is this extra thing which Kharmate does, the Minister is totally unaware. There are agreements made with the RTO people who seek transfer and whose work is done by Kharmate and gang. Yes, agreement is in writing. Every month even after the transfer money is paid, that said officer has to send a ‘fixed sum’ to Kharmate as goodwill, which I don’t know goes where. For that, the officer who has to give money to Mumbai, obviously creates a havoc at his postings in the state.
In a letter dated 22nd October 2020 Central Minister Nitin Gadkari had complained personally against Bajrang Kharmate and his antics to then Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar. In this letter (a copy with me) Gadkari had mentioned that how Kharmate in Nagpur district at Inter State RTO check post troubled, extorted and beat up drivers finding small faults, if they didn’t pay up ‘hafta’ with the help of local police. Kharmate did this with every truck/vehicle that passed through the check-post whereas Gadkari says, sand mafia trucks were allowed to pass without any trouble. There are various cases registered with the Anti Corruption Department but till date no action has been taken on Kharmate, said the letter. Otherwise ACB is known to catch people taking Rs. 500 Rs, 1000, Rs, 2 lakhs or at the most Rs. 5 lakhs bribe. Why does not ACB catch people who take money in Cement Bags? Yes, it happens at RTO inter-state check posts in the state. Numerous complains on this to the ACB has fallen on deaf ears for years now. When a powerful Minister like Gadkari writes to the state, it is matter of shame sitting in Delhi he knows who is the operator and how money is earned ‘illegally’.
Lastly, have heard Bajrang Kharmate has been asked to move out of Mumbai and Parab has distanced himself. But now, is it too late? After having so much water flown below the bridge, now the Minister distances himself…..? Parab himself is in trouble for his Dapoli resort issue, now with this Kharmate matter, I think he will have few things to explain to the agencies.
