Devendra Fadnavis and his challenges!
When the going gets tough, the tough gets going…Past 15 days in between Ganpati Bappa celebrations, one man who in literal sense dodged a bullet for the N number of times, is our very own Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis ! Yes, Fadnavis haters had raised their ugly head and tried to stop him once again, politically…Man, I don’t know what this man is made of, but not only does he duct to these bouncers very well, but he also knocks it out of the park too, time and again! And this time, those who said, the Maratha morcha was backed by Sharad Pawar group or even social media went abuzz with Eknath Shinde backing it, I have credible information on this that yes, there were some members from the opposition who were backing it, some were those who think that this Devendra Fadnavis is competition to them in the future; then some were from the allies too and some silently nodded from within the party too…But as I said, Devendra Fadnavis has yet again, has come out of it Sahi Salamat, but readers, situation was really tensed, this time! What I understand from all of this is, there is no problem having a Brahmin CM, the problem is Devendra Fadnavis– who has shut all shops !
Now in literal sense, he hasn’t shut shops at all, I shall tell you…Walk into his cabin on a Tuesday afternoon after the Cabinet, a maximum number of opposition MLAs including those who supported the Maratha movement, all come out of his cabin with a smile and satisfaction. All Devendra Fadnavis has done this time is yes, put a check-point to the rampage already created…On the other hand, Ajit Pawar remains untouched, which surprises me as he is currently batting on the front foot. If the files of both DCM’s have to go through the CMO, it was done to put brakes on these two and this has naturally created a kind of awkwardness, but that does not mean work has stopped, one phone call to DF from any of the two, and the file is cleared with enough reasoning. One thing is for sure, both Ajit Pawar and Shinde don’t like each other for reasons best known to them.
Anyway, coming back to the protest and the aftermath, I am told there is a list that has made its way in the hands of CM Devendra Fadnavis as to who actually tried to backstab him. Apart from leaders there are names of bureaucrats too (both in service and retired) and some dalaal’s. Very surprising were the discussions of senior most IAS and IPS Maratha officers that were held behind closed doors. Devendra ji, let me tell you, please pay your attention to these silent haters too.
Mind you readers, I will just say, this CP -Mumbai, IPS Deven Bharti is a boon to us all Mumbaikars and to Devendra Fadnavis…I shall keep it to only that… And yes, even if Shinde was in his hometown during Ganpati when the protest was in full-swing, he too was doing the necessary leg work to help and only help–Fadnavis.
If the protest was ended well by the Government thanks to the intervention of Hobble High Court, the next bomb in DF’s life was full-page advertisements in every newspaper. If and only if DF has given the approval of such advertisements, it was very uncalled for, I felt. But then some section of the movers and shakers said, no DF was unaware of it and many names cropped up who could have done this…I feel this has clearly done some damage to DF especially when the Maratha Morcha had just concluded. Some said, it was Eknath Shinde’s one of the ministers who sponsored this to stitch the fabric between DF and Shinde, some said it was Darekar-Lad Jodi while some said it was Pratap Sarnaik…But of all, Darekar and Lad couldn’t have done it, as it was on a massive scale expenditure, and I know both of them are known to be extremely cautious in spending 5 Rs also. Pratap couldn’t have done it behind Shinde’s back to woo DF to get some projects done, as Pratap Sarnaik is still scared of the consequences he would have faced from Shinde, if he had done it. Then who has done it, still remains a mystery!
