Maha-Yuti please be aware this time….
It is about time that Devendra Fadnavis will be declared as Mahayuti’s candidate for the Chief Ministerial post. For me, it would be much better if Eknath Shinde assumes the role of Dy CM and not put any Shambhuraj Desai or Dada Bhuse on that post. This move will further raise the bar of Eknath Shinde and within no time when Devendra Fadnavis goes to the Center, it will be Eknath Shinde and none other who will take the CM’s post. Ajit Pawar has already cleared his stand. Now that everything is going just fine, the three -four days after the results were declared, when the Karyakarta of Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis fought wanting an upper hand on each other, it only proved to be detrimental to Devendra Fadnavis, which many people failed to understand. The leaders opposing Fadnavis as the CM candidate in the MahaYuti just needed that kind of fuel to convince the Delhi bosses, which was provided on the platter by the BJP right-wingers.
Please understand Amit Shah and PM Narendra Modi have only one issue on their mind-to tackle the Maratha reservation issue. They know that it is only Devendra Fadnavis who will address it without any hassle as they both at the top are aware how Jarange Patil was instigated and who was behind it. Hence the natural choice of Devendra Fadnavis…Now names of Ravi Chavan, Nitin Gadkari, Poonam Mahajan did do the rounds, but nothing of this was even discussed. It was Devendra Fadnavis all the way. The name was decided as to who will be the Chief Minister the next day of the results and the Delhi trip of all these leaders was done to stamp the name and discuss the cabinet expansion who will make it to the list and with what portfolio.
Now what is the caution I am writing for MahaYuti. It is the list of Ministerial candidates which Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar proposed. We all know how corrupt and at what level few Ministers stooped to, in the past 2.5 years in the Eknath Shinde government. Likes of Tanaji Sawant, Abdul Sattar, Hassan Mushriff, Deepak Kesarkar, Shambhuraj Desai and many others were not even in control of Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar. To top that, Eknath Shinde was always surrounded by those 40 MLAs who crossed all boundaries and did not let Eknath Shinde flourish as what he could have done. He had many ideas as he is a leader of the common man, but then meetings and follow up meetings just did not give Eknath Shinde any chance, yet he could do what is all for us to see. Imagine the capacity that man has. Then came the liaisons. Then came the bureaucrats who were just looting our state with eyes wide open. Had the opposition had some kind of leader with a spine who would fight this, things would have been very different.
I feel Devendra Fadnavis should now do a Gujarat model. Drop all old timer Ministers and appoint a totally new different team altogether with the right kind of mix. I have heard Center has put a condition of having 10% of the cabinet as Women Ministers. Being the largest party with seats, I feel this time BJP will have more Ministerial berths than both Shinde and Pawar. I also have a gut feel that Dr Shrikant Shinde who was one of the most crucial factors of the Shinde faction to win 57 seats, will be getting a cabinet berth at the Center as and when the reshuffle happens.
Please note, Devendra Fadnavis will never leave the charge of Home. NCP will have all the portfolio’s that they had from 22-24 and similarly it will be with the Shiv Sena. Not major changes. By the way, big time Youtubers who sit in their homes and make videos, took big packages, many things did not go your way right?
Dear Mahayuti voters of Shinde and Fadnavis, neither Eknath Shinde is an enemy nor is he anything close to what Uddhav Thackeray we had seen in 2019. He will never backstab. Yes, it is but natural that he wanted to become CM again, but then very gracefully he made way for Fadnavis. If they want to work as a team, why are you fighting? Don’t give chances to the opponents who are waiting for this relationship to go kaput. If these 3 stick around like what they are now, Mahayuti is here to stay for next 10 years, mark my words!!
