Amitabh Gupta IPS…
The whole world mourned yesterday. Everyone from the most non-sensitive person, to the most emotional person alive in our country/world and who knew or heard about Padma Vibhushan Ratan Tata’s passing away, shed at least one tear for him or his/her heart sank at least once. He was a great human being, period! But he is gone, and left behind for all of us an important message how we should live, be a giver and let go…I am sure everyone of you must have heard about the Ford and Tata story and how Ratan Tata won the battle in due course of time, but Ratan Tata never finished Ford…He made the Fords realise how “Karma” is….Sadly back in our IPS circles, here the revenge is taken to finish off someone not in a literal sense, but morally yes!!
Many of you in the power circles must be aware that IPS Amitabh Gupta has been transferred not only out of Mumbai or in the remotest area of Maharashtra, but straight away in Delhi. His promotion was kept on hold, and the operation was such a secret that even if you tapped anyones phone, no one was aware except two to three people. By the way, for Delhi posting you need empanelment or application for Central services, none of which Amitabh has done or did. I don’t want to get into how and what Amitabh Gupta is or what has he done in the past or present or now, but I know one thing, this is a dangerous trend set in Maharashtra now that anyone be it anyone, can be thrown outside our state if you have the right people backing you. Amitabh might have done 10,000 things wrong in his career but he was only listening to his bosses at that time…Yes, in terms of corruption I don’t want to comment–but who is “Doodh ka Dhula here?”
Aree Baba, we have more third grade police officers than Amitabh Gupta working right under our nose. Believe me, I know the worst!!!! Now just because he was forced to do something against you, where is it his fault completely? If HM Fadnavis was disturbed and troubled by say Amitabh Gupta (for instance I am saying), Devendra Fadnavis will never punish Amitabh like this. He knows and is matured enough to know that some things must have been done by Amitabh only on insistence of the political masters that time who had different agenda and they to finish Fadnavis and his allies anyhow. But keeping everything in heart for years, and coming and avenging the deeds of Amitabh now and destroying him completely like this, is strictly not how Maharashtra works.
Remember just last year, he was given a decent post after his stint as Pune Police Commissioner, but then in the evening he was given a post where only he and mosquitos resided in that cabin for almost a year now. He had no work… Thik hai na, he must be deserving of this…
Do you know Amitabh has been sent to Delhi ‘demoted’? Yes he is ADGP rank, his promotion was withheld, and due to him of several others, but he has been sent to the Indo-Tibet Border Police as IG rank officer. Not to worry, he can apply for exemption and get his status back to ADGP rank there, but then he should have that contact in Delhi nah and it will take months now…There also the government must be against him if the State government has acted against him here. What I know, I don’t think he will knock on the doors of CAT (Central Administrative Tribunal) for staying this order nor will he resign as that is the only option left with him…
What I think he will do is he will go to Delhi and join the posting there. Now just 15 days ago he was allotted “Yashodhan” wherein his 80+ aged parents are staying. His son and daughter are working in Mumbai and wife is looking after parents (in-laws), children and now Amitabh will go to Delhi. Imagine the circus Mrs. Gupta will have to do. What I know of the kids, they have come to the marriage age now and I think Gupta’s were planning to do so for their kids. But now everything is on the back burner as it is not Pune where you can come and go, it is Delhi and Mumbai…
Aisa nahi hona chahiye, especially when the family is held at stake. What did we learn from Ratan Tata…to let go, to give away whatever we have over our necessities…Even Ratan Tata couldn’t take anything with him…My father always says, Vikrant in life, never take 3 things for granted–looks, health and money (power)…one bad day and you have to repent your whole life. One bad report and you are done in life…But unfortunately some people are holding too many grudges in their heart. Let go friends, whatever has happened with Amitabh, let it happen now– but henceforth in life, learn to give up, learn to sacrifice and learn to forgive…You will find peace within!! And don’t forget the curse your wrong deed carries, if not you, the curse comes back to your health sometime or the next generation pays…always remember this..Do the right karma!!
