People are so third grade, they just don’t have patience…they come, they get their ED/CBI/ACB/IT everything cleared, change their fathers in one night and go back where they came from. This is the problem with Maharashtra BJP. They just don’t know what to do. And because of these third grade corrupt and bogus people coming and leaving BJP, hardcore BJP and RSS Karyakartas are still left behind demotivated and with no money or power or anything. BJP should learn from the likes of Sharad Pawar who stands behind his Karyakartas and makes them something in life. Hence, even if the likes of Ajit Pawar or anyone of that stature leave him and go, people are and always be behind Sharad Pawar & not others. Similar quality is that of CM Eknath Shinde. These imports coming to the BJP, in the meantime they get clearances from agencies, also earn few contracts and tenders make huge monies that will suffice them for next 10 years. BJP or any national party should make one rule for everyone coming into their parties: NO post, no MLA/MP/MLC, no business/tenders/contracts, no political help for at least 3 years. भाजपला , एक घाव दोन तुकडे करताच येत नाही…
I was very surprised when someone told me that a DCP (IPS) level officer had a Central Agency top boss call up the person who is responsible for postings of IPS here in Mumbai. This particular officer wanted one particular zone which is attached with glamour, money and power. Mumbai police being Mumbai police honoured the call, but instead of giving that particular cream posting, gave a side posting citing ‘pressure from top’ reason. I don’t know what a Shirsat has to do in police posting? He is from Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad) but somehow he got ‘his’ person transferred to Mumbai as DCP. Kya chal raha hai yaar…That new DCP has already rubbed the seniors the wrong way, by reaching out one to this MLA who is not from Mumbai, and secondly by asking a Central agency top boss calling up someone big here.
Many people are asking me about their views on who will form the Government next in 2024 in Maharashtra? My answer to them is, it is still 50:50. I think Sharad Pawar is playing a master-stroke; how come the children or next generation of politicians of the family who had left his party or from the families of opposition too suddenly in touch with NCP (SP)? Isn’t there a sudden rift in the Mohite-Patil family, Prataprao Bhosale family, Atram family, Tanaji Sawant family and at the end in his own family too…Secondly, Jarange Patil will be a disturbing factor for the BJP. Mind you, I said only BJP and not the NDA. Third, whenever this government does or is trying to do anything good, something or the other is coming up to haunt them. Be it the Ghatkoper hoarding case, be it the Badlapur case, the falling of Chhtrapati Shivaji Maharaj statue case…and if nothing is there, Jarange Patil and casteism is haunting the Yuti in Maharashtra. But one factor which in my views will be most detrimental to this government is the condition of the roads outside Mumbai and failure of this government to do anything about it. During Ganpati the most used Mumbai-Goa National Highway-it is in a terrible state. There is no need to mention the situation of Ghodbunder road everyday or the Gujarat highway–believe me it is a mess and people won’t forget this and forgive the government for it. Yuti has been in the government for the past 2.5 years now. Didn’t they have any chance to repair these main roads that connect Mumbai periphery to Maharashtra. I mean everyday social media is bursting with traffic snarls and showcasing the conditions of the roads. Secondly cities like Pune and Nagpur have become a nightmare in terms of policing and traffic.
In the end, I have been saying this for almost a year now, that let all parties fight these elections single handedly. No alliance whatsoever. Let everyone know the ground reality!
