Mumbai Che Daav ‘Pech’…
I think Mumbai is voting on May 20th and we are just almost a month away and we don’t know who the candidate is for more than 3 places from the NDA for ..
1. Mumbai South Central
2. Mumbai North Central
3. Mumbai North West …
AND
4. Thane..
By the way all the “willing” to fight (in their own minds) the Loksabha , everyone has started campaigning on their own without any formal declaration..so for 1 seat more than 2 probables are campaigning even if they are of the same party…
In South Central, if a Rahul Narvekar is campaigning there is a Mangal Prabhat Lodha too, who is seen campaigning …name of actor Govinda is also doing the rounds and so is Yashwant Jadhav’s! My bet was on Bala Nandgaonkar but Raj Thackeray announced his party MNS won’t contest. 90% Sena will field its candidate from there so in all probability the name of Yashwant Jadhav looks more of a possibility…
In North West, Sanjay Nirupam is showing his love to our city as he is the son-in-law of Mumbai who has had beef parties and abused PM Modi to no limit when he was in Congress. Ravindra Waikar is also asked to be prepared. My bet was on an MLA from this area of the BJP as it would have been a close contest between him and Amol Kirtikar.. but again Sena will get this seat, mostly!
In the North Central, Adv Ujjwal Nikam’s name is doing the rounds, retaining Poonam Mahajan is also a possibility. Actors Akshay Kumar and Madhuri Dixit have has said a NO, is what I got to hear…My bet was on Ashish Shelar as he would have won the election by +3 lakhs votes but it seems he wants to stay in the state…An Ex-CP of Mumbai is also in the fray!
Piyush Goyal from Mumbai North and Rahul Shewale from Mumbai South Central should win easily from the seats but it will be a tough fight for Mihir Kotecha in the Mumbai North East.
For Thane, it has to be Pratap Sarnaik fighting Vichare…Also Ganesh Naik/Sanjeev Naik will give a very tough fight and might win also if given a chance…Ravindra Phatak will be a weaker candidate..
At large Mumbai & MMR, the talks are still on between Shinde and the BJP. Pressure tactics are used but then we all know how BJP retaliates if pushed too far…
