The Salman Khan case and the aftermath!
Ok, 2 shooters on one fine evening land at Bandra and shoot randomly at actor Salman Khan’s house. No one is injured, but the threat looming over Salman Khan proves that it is a real one and this was just the ‘trailer’. After this, the police sprung into action, catching hold of those two shooters from Gujrat; CM Eknath Shinde visits Salman’s home and assures the actor the safety of the family. Everything comes back to normalcy. Salman Khan comes to the balcony and waves to his fans assuring them that he is the same ‘Dabang’ guy whom we all loved…but to tell you off the record, he is a very scared person now. 17 top cops of various cities were activated to nab the shooters and once the shooters were arrested, there did arise a credit-war in Mumbai Police, over a selfie with the criminals and as to who solved the case…
There was already protection provided to the brother-in-law of Salman Khan, Ayush Sharma, but now with this attack it has been “upgraded” with immediate effect since he is from Mandi; and protection has been sanctioned to newly married and brother of Salman, Arbaaz Khan…Now, I have even heard from my sources that there will be audit of threat perception of the entire Khan family and if it is established, the chilum, sorry, the teenager children, of the family too will be seen with protection roaming on Mumbai streets! Didn’t I say Salman Khan was important…Anyway, this was just a news item, now coming to the aftermath…
I’ll tell you, Karma is a bitch! What goes around, comes around! Few cases just don’t refuse to leave Salman Khan. What I have heard from sources is that Salman is too scared now; not only for himself, but for the safety of his family members too–as the threat is real. He has managed to thwart the D-gang members in the past, as did many actors in the ’90’s, but this time, Salman is worried as Lawrence does not seem to budge. One more breaking news–after the shooters were caught, the Muslim fans have visited various mosques and the Hindu fans took darshan at Siddhivinayak to thank the Lord!!
Now, when the Law & Order (L & O) team reached the spot including the top IPS officers to handle the situation on the morning of shooting, let me tell you these cops sprung in action till late night and had all details including the Aadhar card of the shooters. Please note–I said the normal Bandra police station and local police team–the case was not handed over to the Crime Branch…Teams of various cities were kept on alert including that of Champaran from where these first-timer shooters belonged. The only fear in the local police team was that they should not cross to Nepal as from Champaran to go to Nepal, as it is just an hour job.. if they did so, then it would have been difficult to catch hold of them. But then when the bikes were traced to a Navi Mumbai address, the owners of the bikes were brought for questioning. When the photographs of the shooters were shown to this person, he immediately recognised Vicky Gupta and Pal as they were his tenants…After a long search through railway stations and road nakabandi it was established by the local police team that the shooters had fled to Gujrat… An FIR was registered and then the case was transferred to the Crime Branch department including the identities of the shooters. Please note–the case was transferred to the Crime Branch 2 hours after registering the FIR.
It was the Bandra Police Station and the local police team who had tipped off the Gujarat Police and it was actually the local police of Gujarat who caught hold of the two shooters at night after searching a few lodges. The local police informed both the Local police team of Mumbai police who were present there, and also informed the Crime Branch team at the same time, but then it was the Crime Branch who won the race and caught hold of the shooters. A selfie was taken at night with the shooters and spread over social media. No worries, whether the local/bandra police team or the Crime Branch, it was Mumbai Police who won and saved itself from million brickbats that would have come had the shooters ran away to Nepal.
Now, I did not like one thing and I am going to be open about it…Why did CM Eknath Shinde in such a tense situation of Loksabha election fever go to meet Salman? I did not like the body language of Salman there…Boss, he is the CM of Maharashtra who out of concern and love has come to meet you leaving his most crucial battle of his political life. You make him sit on a small sofa with your father Salim uncle, and you sit with torn/fancy denims like a Maharaja in a Maharaja chair spreading your legs and hands…Please understand Bhai, he is the real Bhai…He is the CM of Maharashtra…the other day too similar thing happened at the private airport, one chapri comedian/actor Paul came out of the airport and drove with the Chief Minister…Go check videos online and you people tell me the attitude of that actor and his body language when they were getting photographed by the media…CM sir, please don’t mind me telling you, such people shouldn’t even come in the next 100 meters wherever you are…and one phone call from you to Salman would have been sufficient rather than you going all the way to Bandra.
And mind you, I have seen/heard Bollywood and their “use and throw” attitude since I was a child. Once this same Eknath Shinde is not a CM and only an MLA, let me see if such actors give the same bhaav to him. Yes, of course, only one politician is respected by Bollywood; Baba Siddique…why? Don’t ask, won’t tell !! .
Now social media is abuzz and a bit appalled by the CM going to meet Salman. They are questioning is Salman Khan far more important than any farmer suicides in our state, Disha Salian-SSR case, and the ongoing election fever for our Government? If this blog reaches the right hands, please may I request a minimum “Bharat Ratna” to actor Salman Khan for his entire life contribution as it is an inspiration to millions of us…
