1.Yogesh Mhase, Collector Raigad on his way out…
While Raigad Collector (IAS) Yogesh Mhase is all set to be replaced by promotee IAS Kishan Jawale, Yogesh Mhase is yet to get another posting. Orders for the same will be out in a day or two. Yogesh’s wife, Swati Mhase (IAS) too has been waiting for a new posting for a long time. The new Collector at Raigad was Additional Kokan Commissioner and many must be knowing him as Private Secretary to Amit Deshmukh in the previous government. Interestingly, Mhase had completed only one year as Raigad Collector. But what is learnt is that the political structure in this Raigad, is a big mess and it is not a cup of tea of any one leader to take control there. Sunil Tatkare, MP from Raigad, should take things in his hands and control all the Dalvi’s and Gogwale’s and put a system to make Raigad a working friendly atmosphere. Else, with all the ‘bhaigiri’ and ‘dadagiri’ this beautiful patch of Kokan is turning into mafia-raaj. No IAS is ready to work there and if they say yes, they end up having blood pressure problems or saying “Haa Ji” even when the peon asks for leave. Rather than sending promotee’s as Collector’s and SP’s here, Government should think of having direct recruits–Tukaram Mundhe ‘types’, not Tukaram as he is a bit senior for this. Sab seedhe ho jayenge….
2. By the way, OSD to Minister Dharmaraobaba Atram, Ashutosh Rathod, who was once Joint MD at the MTDC, has put in his papers and applied for VRS. No, no, he wasn’t troubled by any ‘CG’ or FDA Commissioner Kale, but it was Rathod who opted out on his own. He is also a lawyer by profession and wishes to try his luck in that field for the next 10 years. Apt advice given by his ‘daddy dearest’.
3. I just got to know a gossip of an IAS officer when he was the Municipal Commissioner at one of the Corporations of the MMR. What had happened, a senior bureaucrat was approached by his very prestigious friend who has been a big industrialist in Mumbai for years now, he had some work at one of the MMR’s Corporations. Naturally this friend was rich and powerful. So this senior bureaucrat rang the Commissioner of this MMR and referred his friend and requested to help only if the work had merit. But you know what happened when this Industrialist went to meet this Commissioner? Ok, this Commissioner, not long ago, had a habit of Darbar policy and chanting ‘Tukaram Abhang’ in his cabin and he made anybody and everybody sit on the FLOOR..Yes, you read it correctly! This industrialist, having no idea, reached on time to meet this Commissioner and he was made to SIT ON THE FLOOR and tell his work. Insulted, infuriated this Industrialist left! Naturally, this commissioner as per his habit did not do the work. But imagine the “MASTI” and “AUDACITY” of this IAS…hence he is transferred every 6 months.
4. People are in competition to show the world that it was them who had written FIRST about Ashok Chavan going to the BJP. My dear readers, we won’t claim anything of that sort, but if you check my blogs 6 months ago, you will find the news. Anyway, the moving of a powerful leader does not happen overnight. A strategy is placed, discussions happen and it takes months to make the final move. Not flexing, but I might not be Amitabh Bachchan when it comes to Khabron Ki Duniya of Maharashtra, but I am surely not less than Shah Rukh Khan too…
5. Anyway, apart from this, you know what, holding awards every month calling Bollywood celebrities, politicians and bureaucrats and awarding them every 2 months does not only happen only in Bollywood, it happens in politics too. Have to credit the whole ‘family’ for continuously keeping in touch and satisfying their OWN EGO rather than these politicians and bureaucrats, by awarding them, feeding them and also at the same time getting files cleared. But then sirs, ask these politicians and bureaucrats to keep quiet, na! On one hand they love to take the award from Bollywood hotties, but then on the next day, the same set of people will cry that such functions should not be done at the Government cost… I asked one of them the reason for him saying so, he said 15 days before the function, Atul, Yadu, the Marketing and Sales team literally sit on our heads for full page advertisements and advertorials. Kya yaar, I thought ‘selling awards’ happens only in Bollywood!
6. गुमशुदा … गुमशुदा …कोई हुआ कहां हुआ ? “आनंद” कहा हो आप ? was my tweet (X) few days ago…Those who yet don’t know which Anand I am referring to, they should check the “Madiyaa” if he is there as it is been more than 15 days this gentleman has not reported to the CMO…
