IPS’s u-turn…
By just the mention of a rumour in the political circles that Ajit Pawar will become the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra, not only dalaal’s, agents, journalists, even the bureaucracy, especially the IPS, have started to queue outside Ajit Pawar bunglow since last 2 days to show them their loyalty towards him. I mean, nothing has happened, nothing will happen, Ajit Pawar might get the CMship whenever, but then there is a time and place for everything. When will these bureaucrats ever learn? In my opinion, all those who are putting up posters of their favourite politician and addressing them as the CM on those posters, mind you, you are in for a big disappointment as of now. Recent frequent trips of current CM Eknath Shinde to Delhi is nothing but report card submission and review of Loksabha preparation and nothing more. Rumours that he has been asked to resign or we will disqualify you through the Speaker, remain rumours. In Maharashtra today, learn to hold back your horses!!
If and only if Delhi feels that Shinde is not being able to deliver, then the party will fall back upon its ace card–Devendra Fadnavis. They are concerned with results and not ego trips, let me remind you. For them if tomorrow they think that Vinod Tawde will deliver they won’t think twice to make him the CM. The current MP calculation as per internal surveys says 27-28 MP’s of Maharashtra for the NDA, which is a concern but then Shinde will stay. Ajit not meeting Amit Shah and not going to Delhi are altogether two different things. He was upset as he was not getting what he wanted, but then after so much, guardianship of Pune did fall in his lap, right? If for guardianship so much naatak, imagine for the CM post Ajit Dada will have to go to the Himalayas only to convince Delhi.
Coming to IPS, DGP Rajneesh Sheth took VRS and joined MPSC. Now senior most Rashmi Shukla will take over as the new DGP, media declared; but then why aren’t her orders out as of yet? If that happens, that means Mumbai CP Vivek Phansalkar will continue as Commissioner of Police Mumbai, as many were saying that Phansalkar will become the new DGP making way for Deven Bharti as the Mumbai CP. But then, let’s wait and watch for this space as orders for the new DGP are not out as of yet.
Now as soon as the news of Ajit Pawar becoming CM broke two senior most IPS officers, one known as “Chawanprash” on social media for his philandering character, and the other one who wants to “Raj” as he has been sidelined for quite sometime now, are desperate to please the Maratha strongman. Heard these two even tried reaching Ajit Pawar’s bungalow, for a one-on-one. Back then when Fadnavis became the HM, some of these officers had even reached RSS top people claiming how ‘deshbhakti’ runs in their blood. Anyway, do you know what these two and few more have demanded? Just because a post for Deven Bharti as ‘Special Commissioner’ was created these people also want the same post to be created for EOW now. Yes, Special Joint Commissioner-EOW. Aree baba, he is Deven Bharti. It is like these officers are Kumar Gaurav and they are comparing themselves with Amitabh Bachchan. Mind you officers, if this news of you closing up with Ajit Pawar has reached my ears, it surely has reached current HM Devendra Fadnavis and what I know of Devendra Fadnavis, he is of that types, “Teri Keheke Loonga” 😄😄😄
Boss, can someone tell me when will IPS Jai Jeet Singh move out of Thane, as its police commissioner? I think it will happen only after Zimbabwe wins cricket World Cup in 2040, Kiara Advani becomes mother to 4 children, Rahul Gandhi becomes PM or when Pratap Sarnaik becomes a Minister from Thane. Bus Karo na sir, now Ashutosh Dumbare and Niket Kaushik are tired of waiting in line. By the way, heard another officer who was trying to lobby for Thane CP post, he gave a very very hefty amount to that Gogawale for lobbying his name and when the name of this candidate was proposed as Thane CP in front of Fadnavis, Fadnavis threw a fit of rage and now Gogawale does not eat ‘supari’ in his pan too. End result, neither that officer is getting that post and he has lost that very very hefty amount too.
Now for Nagpur, I think the same is the case of Amitesh Kumar. I think his term is nearly over or at almost completion. I have heard Sanjay Saxena, Anup Singh, and Sunil Ramanand are trying very hard for Nagpur Commissioner post and even started to call for ‘Tarri Poha’ and ‘Saoji Mutton’ from Nagpur just to get accustomed to Nagpur, but the recent flooding of Nagpur has dampened their spirits too…but the lobbying is still on…
In Navi Mumbai, the Joint Commissioner is retiring. Mumbai’s two top cops including 1 Additional CP are trying hard for that post. One of them has only 11 months of service left. Oh yes, even Sanjay Darode sorry Darade is keen on working under CP Milind Bharambe. But then Bharambe himself is yet not out of shock at his predecessor’s work. His biceps have seen a keen drop as he has reduced his gym time owing to work-pressure and cleanup job.
Pehchan Kaun ?
He is an ex Police Commissioner of Mumbai MMR, still in service…on top he appeared very gentle and non -corrupt but later it was discovered his wife handled all transfers of PI, Sr Pi and did all the liaison for the husband. She wouldn’t even leave a Constable who had to shell out money for routine transfer in nearby police stations. Thoroughly corrupt. I hate men who keep their wives in front for doing their dirty job. Imagine random people coming to their home (don’t know kaun kaise najar leke aata hai) to get the work done. Included builders, policemen and so many others…Yuckkk….

He is a Commissioner of Police in one of the cities of Maharashtra…
Initially appeared non-corrupt when he took charge from a controversial CP of that city. At first he was, “I know all” types but then when he saw the magnemoneousity of that city, he went into a shell. This city in which everyone thinks, “Tu Olakhatos Ka Mi Kon Aahe” (Delhi of Maharashtra) whenever CM, DCM, HM call him he is quick to pass on the responsibility to his subordinates and blame them in front of his superiors if things go wrong. Recently a politician who is in the race to become CM shouted at him for his incompetence, this CP went home and watched the Kapil Sharma show to overcome his sadness. Next day, again he was ready to blame the juniors and subordinates. He does not work at all when a crucial situation comes and asks his subordinates to come up with a strategy. He is known to sit on files and not take any decisions. Now I have heard he even sits on routine files as he is waiting for money on those files. He has appointed an agent for that too.
