Enough of protecting MLA’s and Ministers.
I don’t understand why the MLA’s in Maharashtra now need police protection? All dangers are being averted, I suppose. Vidhan Bhavan is filled with cars of security and private body guards and cops. Also when young MLA’s party hard in Mumbai, it is a nightmare to see the cops and security guards surrounding and helping drunk MLA’s, their wives and friends to escort them to their cars. Police are here to serve their motherland and not to escort drunk & people high on power. Now you are in government , I request you Devendra Fadnavis to withdraw protection (X, Y or Y+)to all MLA’s and free the police. Minimise for the Ministers too. Only provide to whom there is a serious threat. We need police in police stations and at more important places, and to top that there are less personnel in the department. And believe me, now there is no danger to these MLAs being attacked as they are in power now. Standard protocol of 1 armed police is enough for every MLA. Save the resources and tax payers money, please sir!! And those young MLAs who want to do showbaazi, let them pay from their own pocket for the protection, their cars and the petrol too.
Animal Husbandry Department
Good news for the department is the appointment of Tukaram Mundhe as Secretary! For a long time I was waiting for an officer who could actually work in this department. Dear Tukaram ji, I would like you to do one very important thing for the betterment of our state which will indirectly help our farmers. Tukaram ji, as you know the posts of Veterinary doctors in our state almost lie empty. Farmers have to do away with local help to treat their cattle. What is a farmer’s asset? It is their cattle and livestock. Now, I am sure you are aware, most of the VETS who are qualified to do the job are a dire necessity in an agricultural state like ours, Now what happens, these doctors sort deputation to various departments and never work as VETS in various districts. If you scan the list of officers who are on deputation right from CMO to other departments like housing and all, you will be surprised to know the numbers and the time they are out on deputation. In the past I knew a VET who was in Mhada and SRA. What does a doctor know about housing? Request you to immediately cancel these deputation orders of all veterinary doctors and get these officers to do the real job of their parent department.
Mumbai harassed!
If you talk to any industrial estate management, 5 star hotel management, caterers, decorators, furniture suppliers, or any person who is into ‘supply’ business, these days along with them even normal citizens are harassed by MATHADI workers. Such is their arrangement, that whenever there is a decorator transporting goods to a hotel or a banquet hall for a wedding scheduled the next day, these ‘goons’ land up at midnight and demand ‘hafta’ and if you don’t abide, they don’t allow the truck to unload the materials. Similar is the case with the food industry and all relatable industries in the supply department. These 5 to 6 guys who show up are all well built, typical ones, and call up anyone we won’t budge types, and they don’t leave the place until you cough up a good amount. Until the problem was industrial, it was not reaching our ears. But now these workers land up at houses of people and have started demanding and even taking as small as Rs. 1000/- even when renovation of the house is going on. They just don’t budge and they don’t allow any material to be loaded/unloaded. On further investigation, it is seen that now the tempo unions too have started harassing the industrial estates of Mumbai and with Matahdi it has become impossible for the management to run the show without paying ‘hafta’. In Mumbai everyone knows someone or the other. So if you ask these MATHADI goonda’s or union people which political party they belong to, they have 3 I-cards in their pockets. One of Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray group, the other one Shivsena Eknath Shinde and third one is that of MNS. Really it is a mess. But people have come up with solutions. They dial 100 and for the time being the problem is solved. But leaders of all 3 parties, please we aren’t against MATHADI or any person who is legally registered. We are against HAFTA and hooliganism. I spoke to few leaders of Mathadi, do you know what they said, they said, even we are tired of these people acting our behalf and dirtying our work culture!!
