IAS reshuffle on cards?
I know one thing for sure that CM Eknath Shinde is not resigning very soon and the ‘ruckus’ created in political circles by few will die its own natural death. Yes, since ages I have been shouting that not only Ajit PAwar but the entire NCP is BJP’s Plan B. If you don’t believe me check out my Twitter , my videos and my blogs. Anyway, the point is why am I confident that CM Shinde is not going? My gut feel says that the Hon’ble Supreme Court will direct the Speaker of the House to take final decision and it will NOT be ‘TIME BOUND’. If God forbid for CM Shinde, it is time bound for the Speaker to take the decision of disqualification of the 16 MLA’s within 3 months, then you might see BJP closing up on the NCP even if they have numbers yet to be in the Government. Also remember na, I had said, Vinod Tawade is making a big comeback, he will in some other capacity but surely not as the CM. If tables turn and CM Shinde gets disqualified, only one person will be sitting in that CM chair of Maharashtra-Devendra Fadnavis. Even if it is for a few months, he will complete his dream, and then only move to Centre (that too will happen if he wishes) and you never know he might be the next BJP President too. Yes, you read it here, so please keep it in mind!
Meanwhile Ajit PAwar will have to hold his horses and it will happen with a consent from Sharad Pawar only. Anyway, please remember, if a CM gets a hint that he is being played or might be asked to resign, first thing he does is he asks his close aides to finish off important pending works (clearing of big files); then he asks his close aides who have worked under him to get themselves good postings and third he moves his things close to his heart from the Varsha Bungalow to his own residences. As of now Mr. Shinde hasn’t done any of these 3 things. This is the catch, hence nothing happens.

But if the political situation in our state is relatively volatile, here in the bureaucracy too, the water is not still. I have heard there are few important changes happening at the ACS, Principal Secretary and Secretary level. Now all this is heard! Changes at top posts just when we are a few months away from elections at both Centre and State, is a big NO NO!! But as I had said, I heard few of our bureaucrats just couldn’t be kept where they are. Manoj Saunik is hot favourite to be the Chief Secretary after Manukumar Shrivastava retires, both Mhaiskars who were away from good postings for the last 8 months will be given important assignments, I am told. Milind Mhaiskar might become ACS Finance, Dr Nitin Kareer will be handed over one important portfolio (as Additional Charge) I think along with Revenue, Dr Kareer will be handling PWD as well. Most probably Housing will have a new boss in Anil Diggikar and Sanjeev Jaiswal should get Mhada as VP & CEO. Surprising entry will be that of P Velarasu, AMC of BMC will get as CEO-SRA and in his place I am told a very dashing Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar might come to the BMC. Pune’s whole team is changing. Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao, I have heard can be brought to Mumbai as Secretary at Mantralaya and Collector Rajesh Deshmukh and the CEO will be changing too. Then there is a certain change in Nashik, Solapur and Mumbai Collectorship. I don’t think there will be any changes in the MMRDA and BMC Commissioner posts. But you never know, these are heard stories in the corridors of power. I have also heard that in the month of June 2023, there is a change in the post of BMC Commissioner too. Some BG is in heading the race. 😁😉
In regards to the IPS, those who got really worried as to how come many of them were changed within 1 year of their postings, my dear friends, these all happened on behest of PROMOTIONS that were long due and that were suppose to happen in January but like all Governments do, they delayed the promotions few days back and after that happened, we had these transfers.
