Who is IPS Saurabh Tripathi in Mumbai and why is he absconding?
Will Shahrukh Khan at least have one press conference for Nawab Malik as a token of appreciation for what Malik did when SRK’s son Aryan Khan was nabbed by the NCB? Malik had held 35 press conferences early mornings to come in defence of Aryan and expose Wankhede & NCB, if you all recollect those days; but those who think SRK has not returned the favour, mind you, you are wrong. Who is defending Malik? Find out the lawyer’s name and see the lawyer’s clientele. Most of actor Salman Khan’s cases are fought by him. So guess, SRK must have spoken to good friend Salman, and just because SRK cannot come in public to defend or help Malik, lawyer services and fees (in a few lakhs per appearance) “MUST HAVE” been taken care of by these Bollywood people, I assume! So the favour is returned in this way!
Now all those who are supporting Nawab Malik and sloganeering against his arrest by the ED, please can you remember 1993 bomb blasts of Mumbai? 257 people died and more than 1400 people were badly injured. Now as to what ED is saying, Malik has had direct contacts and done business with the ones who had funded the ’93 operation. It is simple, this ‘Pakistani mentality’ politician who hobnobbed between us and lived freely, is punished rightly in my eyes until proven otherwise. I will come out and apologise to Malik publicly for this statement of mine, if Malik comes out free of all charges. See we all can have views over corrupt or extortionists going to jail, but for me, anti-India activities is surely a crime which deserves no remorse. And friends, right now only ED has entered, I am told to wait for the NIA to demand Nawab’s custody under the UAPA. I think he will break Bhujbal’s record too in prison if NIA books him until unless he too has any heart issues like Bhujbal.
MVA’s government is quick to pounce upon Fadnavis to have been a ‘carrier’ of such agencies to politicians’ homes. But my dear readers, Fadnavis held only 1 press conference as against so many in this MVA government. Only 1 was enough I guess! In that he had clearly mentioned that whatever proof he had against Malik and his relations with the Underworld, he will give them all to the central agencies and a copy of the same will be sent to Sharad Pawar, NCP Supremo. Then why didn’t Mr. Pawar act? And now ED has got custody till 3rd March. Judge Rokde must have seen some merit in ED’s claims, right, otherwise he would have set Malik free isn’t it? Now It is really surprising to see the support Uddhav Thackeray’s government is extending to Malik by holding protests all over Maharashtra and by not accepting his resignation. Mr. Uddhav Thackeray, he is Nawab Malik and he is arrested in anti-national activities, let me not remind you of your party’s stand in 92-93! Just for the record, my dear Shivsena Ministers, you are fighting for the man–who called ‘Shiv Bandhan’ (saffron thread tied on each Sanik’s wrist) as ‘गंडादोरा’, whose hands never raised for Shivaji Maharaj’s Jayjyakar and who always made fun of Late Balasaheb, just remember Marathi manoos is watching everything!
Now with Kirit Somaiya and other BJP leaders including Devendra Fadnavis threatening to put more leaders of the MVA in jail, I have started believing the ‘Work from Home’ concept will be replaced with ‘Work from Jail’ soon as no resignations are asked or getting accepted, if tendered!
Moving on, I feel this police department of Maharashtra has not learnt a single lesson from the Param Bir Singh & Sachin Vaze episode. If you read the papers today, DCP Zone 2 Saurabh Tripathi, a direct IPS recruit in Maharashtra, it has been reported that he is transferred to a lesser significant posting in Mumbai, DCP Zone 2 to DCP Operations. No that is not the case. The case for the unknown is that two police officers belonging to the L T marg Police station have been arrested for extortion of Hafta’s from ‘Aangadia’s’ a few days ago . It is learnt that these two police officers were doing so on instructions from DCP IPS Saurabh Tripathi. In fact, I am told, HM Dilip Walse Patil was furious to know that why wasn’t Tripathi’s name in the FIR once the connection of Tripathi with these two police officers was established. So readers, my sources have confirmed with me that within 20 minutes of registering the FIR, Saurabh Tripathi along with his family has been ABSCONDING. Imagine, ex Home Minister in jail, ex-CP was absconding (later resurfaced) and now junior IPS officers too are absconding in extortion cases. Is this really a Maha ‘Vasooli’ Sarkaar or what I have begun to feel ? After so much happening in the state politically, and police image being tarnished in this last one year, what guts this Tripathi had! Really hats off to you Mr. Saurabh! In the end, it will be said, all efforts of current CP Hemant Nagrale to improve the image of police, has gone down the drain.
Rest as for the Chief Secretary, retiring on 28th February, Debashish Chakrabarty has cancelled all meetings for the past 3 days and it is learnt he is not signing any new files. Seems, he has got the hint & also the extension file has not gone to Delhi, I guess! And even if it had gone, who will approach the DOPT or the PMO for extension as, none of them I am told, are entertained at the top. So, it looks like an exit for Chakrabarty and welcoming Manukumar Shrivastava (unless any surprise ) as the new Chief Secretary of Maharashtra.
