Nawab Malik v/s Sameer Wankhede
-Vikrant Hemant Joshi
As such there is no comparison that can be drawn between the two. One is doing his ‘Farz’ and the other is fighting for his ‘Dharm’. And duty comes first, for every one who loves his motherland is what I have been taught. Someone asked me the other day, has politics entered this whole Aryan Khan drug case. I said, it is not just politics, but it is hardcore vendetta politics that has entered the case!
Senior-most counsel Mukul Rohatgi has entered the fray now and today the bail application of Aryan Shahrukh Khan will be either rejected or he will be out for the Diwali. See understand, everything around us happens judging on the pulse and the sentiment of the public, those who get it right, win the tide. Yes, in politics too. Remember a political party has won elections just judging the sentiment and pulse of our country☺️. And today the pulse and sentiment towards Aryan Khan is getting sympathetic. So, on the basis of how Rohatgi argues, most probably Aryan Khan should get the bail now. But if insiders in the NCB are to be believed, the charges are serious, and Aryan is not coming out so soon. Let’s see. But yes, surely the sympathy factor is with Aryan now.
Coming on Nawab Malik and his firm stand to send Sameer Wankhede packing off from the NCB within one year and to put him in jail! Every single day Malik is ready with some or other kind of documents to prove how this is a botched up case and how this Wankhede is bogus. On the other hand, Wankhede has his family-his wife, sister and uncle form Vidarbha, strongly coming in defence for him in the media. Media, oh-what should I say, they are working on this case as if it is their ‘assignment’. They would put Usain Bolt to shame, such is their speed of reporting especially from Malik’s side. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that one day even if Malik farts, these media people will be ready to tell us what he had eaten the previous evening and will come up with remedies to solve his gastric issues too! Shameful it is! This kind of reporting and showing the NCB in poor light is getting on our commoners nerves, isn’t it?
Yesterday my one tweet went viral. The right wingers or the BJP sympathisers even went to an extent to write how I have become ‘antisocial’ being a Joshi. I had tweeted “Sources : Sameer Wankhede likely to be transferred from NCB. It is either the transfer or Aryan Khan case might be taken away from him. If this happens , drug lords are way powerful in front of the BJP too. If this happens, I am saying. Hail our system”. Now this one was done on purpose. Why, I shall explain. Many times, when bureaucrats (IAS) come up to me and tell me Vikrant this XYZee person is behind my life and hell bent on getting me transferred even though I am doing a good job and not completed even a year at this post, I make a point to mention about this officer and people behind it in my blogs then. You must have read it 1000 times. What happens, when I write, the forces who are behind this, automatically stop lobbying out of fear of being exposed and this way the officer is assured he would stay to do his job. The above tweet was done on purpose. When many were gunning for Wankhede’s head, I had to tweet this to neutralise the force behind this. And what happened, Wankhede went to Delhi and returned with a Z + security strong message that he is very much here.
Malik claimed that he received a letter which he termed as ‘Special 26’ wherein it mentioned about 26 cases done by Wankhede and how it was ‘managed’. The letter was written by a so-called NCB officer on condition of anonymity. The DDG of NCB on immediate basis sent the letter to the bin, claiming there is no standing of anonymity in our department. Then that Prabhakar Sail who has created this whole havoc of being the whistle blower of this case has dug his own grave. How? In an interview to one of the channels when asked why he did this, he said his boss, that bald Gosawi, hadn’t paid him for long. Clear cut agenda of vengeance (here too) applies then. Was that the reason for this Sail to go against the NCB as a witness or is he ‘managed’ by someone to do this? Now that NCB bosses from Delhi who have come down have called him for an inquiry on his claims, let’s see if he can withstand it and remains firm on his allegations.
Now who is Nawab Malik? Nawab Malik apart from being a Cabinet Minister in the MVA Government is also a national spokesperson for his NCP party. Read how his actions over the past few days have not gone down well with his party supremo and party workers too. Two days ago when HM Dilip-Walse Patil was asked about various allegations made by Malik and his comment on that, Walse Patil said, I wouldn’t like to comment on the issue as I have not seen anything. This means Malik is doing this not on party orders and it is very clear that his bosses are not liking it and no one who matters in the NCP party is paying attention to it too. A national spokesperson is left alone to fight his own vendetta. If HM of the state is not interested in the case where the world has eyes upon, it is a pity that Malilk is not enjoying support from his party. Years ago, when Parth Pawar had made some comments on an issue, Sharad Pawar had said, ‘we don’t give any importance to what he says’. the stand of Walse-Patil being the Home Minister echoes the same feeling too. And this cautious stand of HM can also be because of the Parambir-Vaze-Deshmukh issue. And one more, If Walse Patil the HM does not know what is happening, the media who is hell bent on reporting everything firsthand, take this…Your HM does not even watch your channel, so stop saying this one’s impact that one’s impact!
To conclude, I don’t know all claims of Malik are false or true, I don’t know if Aryan will secure bail or no, but I know one thing for sure, An officer (honest or dishonest-let vigilance committee decide) who is fighting this drugs Cartel tooth and nail it is a pity that on national television he has to prove his own IDENTITY in his own country. Drug menace is real. Nawab Malik should fight for his son-in-law separately in-fact he should have joined hands with the NCB in this fight. But Mailk chose otherwise and now his image has taken a beating for sure as I said everything is on the pulse and sentiment of the market, and right now the sentiment is against Nawab Malik!
