1. EX-CP Mumbai Rakesh Maria interview-Mumbai Mirror
A must read! In todays Mumbai Mirror, ex-CP of Mumbai Police Rakesh Maria bears his heart out. Himself a lover of Page 3 appearances & Bollywood, Maria will take it on himself to write a book on his life or get a movie made, thats for sure! But he is still way behind our usual camera/limelight lovers Pratap Dighavkar & “Maratha” Vishwas Nangre Patil.
2. Shivsena & BJP broken alliance
Exactly 2 months ago when the news started floating of upcoming BMC elections, I was one of the first to predict that the alliance between the Sena & the BJP will be broken & later they will join hands for ruling the BMC together. Same as what happened during KDMC. casually went to Mantralaya yesterday to see the attendance of Sena Ministers, and was surprised to see 3 Ministers calling for files. In reality these Sena people only dont want to be out of the government. After all this moment in their lives has come after 20 long years. They will do the needful to fill the backlog. Anyway, if you leave people like Raote & Subhash Desai on one side, the rest of Sena Ministers are mere “thieves”. That Eknath Shinde is purchasing lands worth acres & acres with advice of some 100 staff’s he has kept. Some Joshi his PA I have heard only talks in % language. Then we have “land lover” Ravindra Waikar. People like them just handover a morsel of ill gotten wealth to the party head & eat the cake all by themselves. In true sense this is litmus test for Ashish Shelar.
3. Kirit Somaiya to bring out ‘black paper’ on BMC graft
As Anjali Damania tweeted to you Mr. Somaiya, then why do you share power with the Sena at Centre & State? Just because Sena took one stand you are ready with your armour. is this the way to deal with alliance? This is the biggest challenge for Uddhav Thackrey & Devendra Fadnavis. Everyone, except these two, are ready to kill each other and make it public. This is not alliance. Congress & NCP are also not together. Have they spilled the beans of each other? NO…Ajit Pawar & Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil or Ajit Pawar & Harshvardhan can’t even see eye to eye, but still the decency is maintained.
4. BJP MLA Narendra Mehta booked in extortion case
He was into liasoning since the beginning. Once he became MLA, he just thought himself to be invincible. On top of that he is best friends with notorious, corrupt & third grade officer Dilip Ghevare who is the town planner in the Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation. My father had recently written an entire issue of 8 pages on Ghevare & his activities. (www.offtherecordonline.com). Anyway, they say, that Narendra Mehta will forget to meet his wife one day, but not Ghevare…such is their tuning of town planning & friendship. Wake up Anti Corruption…
5. I did not kill blackbuck- Salman Khan
Yes, we agree to that Mr. Khan! After all the courts have given you a clean-chit on this. I shall go one step ahead and say, that while you were driving from Andheri to Bandra the people sleeping on the footpath of the Bakery themselves came under your car & died. They all were SLEEP WALKERS…Keep this reason handy Sallu ….WTF is this Indian Judiciary? Can you believe this people? No, we are made such that we will still go for his movies, cheer for them, make him & his “bhai” earn crores & buy his Being Human brand of clothes & our BMC will go on making him our city’s ambassador for various social causes. I have ZERO faith in our system.

आज मुंबई मिरर मध्ये तात्कालीन मुंबई पोलीस आयुक्त राकेश मारिया यांची मुलाखत वाचण्यासारखी आहे. तसे बऱ्यापैकी फिल्मी/पेज ३ असणारे/आवडणारे मारिया लवकरच स्वतःवर पुस्तक लिहून घेतील किंवा एखादा सिनेमासुद्धा काढून घेतील. मात्र कॅमेराच्या हौशीत अजूनही मारिया प्रताप दिघावकर आणि ‘मराठा’ प्रेमी विश्वास नांगरे पाटील यांच्या मागे आहे.

बरोब्बर दोन महिन्यागोदर मी युती नाही होणार असे माझ्या ब्लॉग मधेच लिहिले होते. पर्वा उद्धव ठाकरेंनी युती तोडल्याचे स्वतःच घोषित केले. मुद्दाम काल मंत्रालयात गेलो. म्हटलं बघूया, युती तुटल्यावर किती सेनेचे मंत्री कामाला दांडी मारतात? कसचे काय? ३ मंत्री सकाळ पासून मंत्रालयात नसत्या मागवत बसले होते. पुन्हा सांगतो-सेनेला स्वतःच सत्ता सोडवत नाहीये. सेनेत एखादे रावते किंवा सुभाष देसाई यांच्यासारखे सभ्य मंत्री सोडले तर इतर सगळेच मंत्री हे “मवाली” आहेत. जरा घ्या रिपोर्ट यांचा… ते एकनाथ शिंदे म्हणतात कि जमिनीच्या जमिनी विकत घेत आहेत. केवढा स्टाफ ठेवला आहे त्यांनी… त्यांच्या खास तो जोशी तर फक्त टक्के किती एवढंच बोलतो. मग आपले भाई–जरा विचार त्या आयएएस सतीश गवईंना…तमाशाच आहे.. मग आपले जमीनमित्र रवींद्र वायकर–न बोललेच बरं– उद्धवजींना नुसत ‘टीका’ लावून हे मंत्री नुसती मजा मारतात..असू द्या–पण एक सांगतो-मुंबई मध्ये शिवसेनाच… पण भाजपलाही कमी समजून चालणार नाही–आशिष शेलारची ही खरी कसोटी!

असं ऐकलं कि किरीट फोटोया (सॉरी सोमय्या) मनपा यामध्ये चालत असलेला गैरप्रकारावर “काळी यादी” काढणार आहेत. अहो, मग कशाला त्यांच्या बरोबर सरकार मध्ये? तुम्हाला ते केंद्रात आणि राज्यात चालतात आणि त्यांनी एखादी भूमिका घेतली कि लत्तरे काढायची, ही कोणती पद्धत?

दलाल तर नरेंद्र मेहता आधीपासूनच होता. त्यात तो मोस्ट करप्ट आणि बदमाश दिलीप घेवारे साथीला… मिरा-भायंदर मध्ये असे म्हणतात कि नरेंद्र मेहताचे एखाद वेळा बायकोशी नाही जमणार पण जर तो या घेवारेला नाही भेटला तर त्याचा दिवस संपतच नाही.. www.offtherecordonline.com वर दिलीप घेवारे वर अख्खा अंक काढला होता बाबांनी…अँटी करप्शनने सरळ या घेवारेवर कारवाई केली पाहिजे. जर आम्हा पत्रकारांना एवढे माहीत असते तर एसीबीला निश्चितच जास्त माहिती असते. का ही टाळाटाळ?

हो.. उद्या भाई म्हणतील कि गाडी चालवत होतो, बांद्रा बेकरी येथे झोपलेली माणसे आपोआप गाडी खाली आली आणि मेली… केवढा हरामखोर हा सलमान खान…भर बाजारात फाशी दिली पाहिजे या देश्द्रोह्याला.. सगळी पापं करतो आणि निर्दोष सुटतो… लाज वाटली पाहिजे आपल्याला… तरीही आपण त्याचे सिनेमे बघतो, टाळ्या मारतो आणि त्याच्या ब्रँडचे कपडे घालतो..
